Student Company & High Flyers
Frequent Flyers® Student Company is for enthusiastic students willing to grow as aerialists, dancers, performers, artists and team members. Frequent Flyers Student Company will present its 13th season in Fall 2017, with professional-quality performances at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder.
Students should have a strong desire to learn more about the art of aerial dance and the ability to be very focused and have a positive presence in classes/ rehearsals. In each age group, we are looking for a dedicated group of artists that work well together!
MISSION: The Frequent Flyers® Student Company is a supportive community fostering creative aerial dance performance opportunities while empowering the individual to embody confidence in their artistic and technical abilities. Embedded in a safe, supportive, non-competitive environment, students can soar in their artistic expression, connecting the ground and the air.

High Flyers is a program for teens with a passion for aerial dance who desire to train at a high level and in a focused environment. This program seeks to empower our advanced teens to access more of their potential, achieve their personal and career goals, and guide them on the journey to discovering their own artistic voices. The Flyers will develop the technique, performance, and choreography skills to help them succeed as aerial dance artists and performers. Although the High Flyers will train hard and be challenged to their limits, this will be a non-competitive environment. Our goal is to foster individual potential and talents that then contribute to the support of the group. We want each teen to achieve the goals they set forth and to motivate their peers to do the same. High Flyers will be a team that works together to lift up each and every member. Through this program, the Flyers will learn new work and create their own work, which will be showcased at the Fall and Spring Cabarets and in performances throughout the community. The High Flyers classes will focus on performance quality, technique, choreography, composition, improvisation, and conditioning. As the Flyers develop their work, they will learn to give each other constructive feedback. This process will teach them to view work critically and begin to understand what their choices communicate to an audience. Through this program, they will learn how to conduct themselves as professionals, while receiving the support, resources, and guidance they will need on their journey.
The next High Flyers audition is Thursday, August 24th 5:15-7:15pm. Interviews will follow 7:30-8:30pm. Application materials coming soon!
