Monday, 8/2. 10-11:30 am MDT
$30 Class without recording.
Prerequisites: This class is best suited for individuals who have limited exposure to acrobatics but have some athletic training and can support their body weight on their hands while inverted for at least 3 seconds and can perform at least five push ups. Ages 14+
Have you ever been in the air and considered whether having gymnastics training would have been helpful to you? Of course, there are many aerial maneuvers with acrobatic basics at the center of the movement. During this class we will review the core body positions necessary for both aerial and acrobatics. We will perform gymnastics-based stretching and strengthening exercises. We will learn to perform the basic acrobatic maneuvers essential to advancing your aerial skills.
Supplies needed: Access to a panel mat or crash mat and an empty wall would be very helpful! If those are not possible: a pillow, yoga mat, and wall will work.
