Paper Plotting Aerial – Intermediate. 2-part Class Series
Mon. 8/2 and Tues. 8/3: Noon – 1:30 PM MDT
$70 Class plus recording. | $70 Recording only.
Prerequisites: Ages 14+. Students must be at an intermediate level and have at least 2 years of experience in sling, fabric, or rope to participate. The most important thing is that you have a very high vocabulary established on at least one, and preferably more than one of these apparatuses.
In this 2-class course, we will practice the art of putting language to what we see and do in aerial. We will analyze skills from aerial performers and start to find a consistent vocabulary. Then, we will put a language onto our own actions and see if what we write down on paper can pop to life in reality. This will greatly help with your ability to communicate with yourself (via your notes) and those around you. This will also start to give you a framework for creative research.
Supplied Needed: paper and pen.
