Deadline extended for the Terry Sendgraff Scholarships to participate in Virtual Aerial Dance Festival 2021!
Apply by June 17. Notification by June 22.
4 scholarships will be awarded to 4 BIPOC identifying students (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) for the Aerial Dance Festival 2021. Scholarships fund three to six classes, access to panels, and entry to the festival showcase performance.
You do not need to be an aerialist to apply! Class topics include yoga, Pilates, improvisation, creativity, aerial theory, handstands, burlesque dance, juggling, chair acrobatics, and more! Panels cover aging in aerials, the bias of BIPOCs in entertainment, aerial and motherhood, artistic activism, and intersectional LGBTQ topics in aerial dance and circus.
