Michele Jongeneel was a NYC Dance Artist for more than 20 years and has relocated to Colorado. A native of Los Angeles County, she holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Cal State Long Beach. She has performed in the US and abroad with Andrea Haenggi/AMDaT, Jody Oberfelder Dance Projects, BODYART Dance, Stephen Petronio, and Winifred Harris amongst others. She has performed extensively in the world-renowned off-Broadway show Fuerza Bruta NYC and Fuerza Bruta Wayra in NYC, Buenos Aires and Las Vegas. She was also a performer in the Dance/ Aerial Theater show Breaking Surface in Brooklyn, NY, and was also a dancer/ aerialist and rehearsal assistant with Bon Bon Burlesque. She has presented her own work with Jongeneel Dance Projects in NYC. Michele is a Dance and Movement Educator and is a certified ABT NTC Ballet teacher, Classical Pilates teacher, and Jivamukti Yoga teacher. Most recently she has been a ballet coach for Dance Athletics Denver and the CU Boulder Dance Team and is currently on staff at The Dance Movement. Michele is thrilled to be performing with the Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance Company.
