An intrepid dreamer and stubborn advocate for all things magical, Sophie has always known it was not a matter of if, but a matter of when she would fly away with the circus. Prone to theatrics and tomfoolery even in the midst of tedious drills, her teaching and performance style is a reflection of the whimsical chaos she aims to curate in her daily life.
After her first taste of flight in 2012 she was immediately hooked and spent the next decade honing her skills through a myriad of artistic endeavors, metaphysical queries, and wacky misadventures. In love with every form of flight she has dabbled in practically every apparatus under the sun, because every aerialist knows the best views are upside down. (No matter how you get there.)
Through ethereal storytelling and innovative sequencing, Sophie always aims to empower her audience with a new found sense of childlike delight.
