Join Longmont Museum as they celebrate the launch of their Fall programming with a special performance by Frequent Flyers’ Professional Company: Because the Sky is Blue.
Drawing inspiration from the current exhibit, Terry Maker’s “Because the World is Round,” Frequent Flyers has tailor-made this site-specific performance especially for the Museum.
3 discrete groups of 50 audience members will be led through 3 spaces, spending 15 minutes in each. Starting in the museum’s Atrium, then moving into the large classroom, and ending outside in the courtyard.
Featuring dancers suspended in midair, this event will help you see the world from a new perspective through experiencing the upside-down realm of aerial dance!
Audiences will be seated indoors, staff will ensure plenty of room for physical distancing, and all visitors, performers, and staff will be required to wear masks for the duration of the event.
