Frequent Flyers is actively recruiting new board members with an interest in supporting our mission. While we welcome a wide range of experience, we are particularly interested in board members with expertise in any of the following areas.
- Non-profit board experience
- Connections to the business community in Boulder
- Fundraising experience
- Marketing expertise
- Financial management
- Education background (school systems, pedagogy)
- Connections to diverse communities in Boulder / Boulder County
Board meetings are held on a monthly basis and we ask that attendance be regular. There is a minimum commitment of one year to be a member of the board and the general time-commitment is 2 to 6 hours per month. Each board member will also serve on one of our board committees and is encouraged to attend Frequent Flyers events and performances as often as is possible. Frequent Flyers would love your participation and targeted expertise on any of our committees including, fundraising / event planning, board development, governance, DEIJ, and strategic planning.
In addition to volunteers for our Board of Directors or committees, we are always looking for support for a wide variety of short-term or small projects from helping with our mailings to ushering at our performances or hosting visiting artists. We also occasionally have need for pro bono assistance in all sorts of areas, including IT support, video editing, marketing and community outreach.
