The ideal candidate is not only passionate about the discipline of aerial dance, but also is open to a wide variety of movement approaches and desires to be artistically and technically challenged. Successful candidates already possess a solid foundation in a dance or movement discipline and have studied more than one aerial apparatus. Candidates that come motivated to put their full energy into this program and to establish their career direction tend to achieve the most success.
We do not recommend this program to candidates that desire to specialize in one specific apparatus, as our curriculum is designed to create versatile performers that possess a high level of skill on many apparatus.
